During Adult Spring Break it's very important to have a cocktail in your hands at all times and agree to any and every bad decisions your friends toss your way. Starting with Thursday night when I was talked in to attending a softball game to cheer for a team called POGO, which I came to find out stands for put out or get out. If that offends you well, I apologize, but I find it quite humorous.
Tumblers of wine are always a must-have when going to softball games. Also always a must-have during Adult Spring Break.
On any other night, you go home after softball and call it a night. On Adult Spring Break you take your evening to a new level and agree to go to lady's night at a local country bar.
When you roll out of bed the next day feeling like hell, wishing you didn't agree to those Southern Comfort shots the night before, you have to shake it off and convince your friend that the only way to stay away from the dreaded hangover is to keep drinking. Also, you should try and remember that you host a link up on your blog on Fridays which means you need to get the hell out of bed and post...
We took Adult Spring Break to classier lengths on Friday and decided to do the wine and dine thing. Fortunately the classy part only lasted for a few hours and then we were back at our shit hole dive bar that's walking distance from our apartment. It may smell like an ashtray but the beer is cheap and I'm getting pretty damn good a darts.
Adult Spring Break peaked in epic proportions on Saturday when we took the boat down to a little place called Disappearing Island for some quality day drinking and escapades. I'll let the pictures do the talking for this day because, quite honestly, I'm already sad it's over.
When Easter falls on Adult Spring Break you just, sort of, have to say eff it and still manage to find some fun in your day and that's exactly what yesterday consisted of. Good company, great drinks and delicious food. Which all ended with a going away party!
Today I am attempting to be productive since clearly I have not been doing much of for the past 3, or so, days. What can I say? I had to do Adult Spring Break 2013 the right way.
No, this is not an April Fool. I really did attempt to have a Spring Break at the age of 25.
It's okay if you judge me, I kind of do too.
