Synopsis/Plot:
Twelve year old Ryoma Echizen is the tennis prodigy from America who has the personal history of winning 4 successive victories at the American Junior Tennis tournaments. His father, Nanjiroh Echizen, a tennis player of legendary status, recalls Ryoma back to Japan to attend the distinguished school of Seishun Academy Middle School. Ryoma, a first year, has his eyes set on being on the regulars team of the tennis club, which the school is famous for.

The members of the Seigaku regulars team include Kunimitsu Tezuka, the captain of the tennis club, whose ranking is that on the National's level. The vice-captain, Syuichirou Oishi, who has a calm and rational sense of playing sense, compliments the acrobatic plays of his double's partner, Eiji Kikumaru; making them the Golden Pair. Third year, Shusuke Fuji, a formidable player, is known for his tactical skill on the tennis courts. Then there's Sadaharu Inui, whose tennis style relies on what he calls, "data tennis" and Takashi Kawamura whose personality instantly changes when he grabs his tennis racket. PLOT:

SYNOPSIS

A workaholic sound-engineer who barely gave time to his own family, Jong Cheol (Tak Jae Hoon) loses both his wife and his son in one flash. Calling it quits, his wife walks out of the marriage, taking with her their only son with whom Jong Cheol never quite established a good paternal bond. Tokyo TV - 25 x 25 minute episodesThis is a new live-action TV series, based on the classic anime and manga, but following up the recent success of the live-action movie, which was even released on DVD in the US. Although the new series isn’t as futuristic as the movie, and also lacks Erika Sato (The Slit-Mouthed Woman) in the lead, it still provides sexed-up Kamen Rider thrills with huge buckets of humour.Cutie Honey, a ditzy do-gooding android, even manages to work her bust into the weekly kickboxing fights with the enemy hordes. There's also some brief topless nudity, indicating that this was aired later at night.Honey is usually chirpy and naïve in her many undercover disguises, though of course she's hiding on Earth disguised as a schoolgirl. She saves up her aggression and skills for her transformations into a one-woman fighting machine. Mikie Hara appears to be doing many of the complex fighting scenes herself.The story concerns the evil organisation Panther Claw's six-pronged attack on law-abiding society, including the use of alien nano-technology to turn humans into bio-weapons and mobile phones into swords!Only Honey Kisaragi can physically stop them, but as usual she still needs help. Besides her usual dapper, private eye, sidekick Seiji Hayami (Syouma Yamamoto), she befriends the surprisingly informative occupants of a riverside shanty village (now a common sight with so many homeless people in Japan's big cities). Also, it appears that she's not the only super-android in the neighbourhood...Cutie Honey is a perfect chance to dress up a beautiful actress in a wild variety of sexy wish-fulfilment outfits, catering for an ogling audience. Though it's treated in a cheeky way, rather than laciviously. The good-natured, infantile, slapstick humour alternates with the fairly nasty antics of the invading aliens. It's a uniquely bizarre comedy superhero adventure that you can only find on televisions far, far away.Cutie Honey has appeared in many anime series that are just now appearing on DVD in the USA. Whether or not Cutie Honey - The Live will follow up these and the movie, remains to be seen.Volume 1 of a non-subtitled DVD release is imminent in Japan. The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. This drama is based on a true story written from the diaries of a fifteen-year-old girl, Kito Aya. Aya is an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a local high school student. However, as Aya went through life that year, odd things began happening to her. She has been falling down, having a hard time performing simple tasks, and generally lacking in coordination.

Her mother takes her to see a doctor for an examination. He informs Shioka that her daughter has a degenerative disease known as spinocerebellar atrophy, where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates. There will come a point where Aya will not even be able to move or speak becoming a full fledged vegetable! Aya's life to this point has treated her very fairly, being the star basketball player in her school and the class representative for her grade. So how will this cruel disease affect her life and how will she react when told about it? How will Aya live from now on?

Meanwhile, people are being found unconscious, their bodies completely unmarked. All the victims have a tattoo (the Koga Ninja crest) and are found with a throwing knife lying close by.

Lifted by a nostalgic medley of 1970s pop hits, Little DJ transports the audience back to a simpler era with a heart-tugging story of first love. Wing Chun was developed 200 years ago By a Woman in China and it has become very effective against major forms of Kung Fu and Karate. If you watch Closely at Nicholas Tse’s demonstration, you can see the simplistic manner to use Wing Chun. It was developed for Close combat with little exertion to be effective. Based on Yukio Mishima’s classic novel, “Snowy Love” depicts a tragic romance between a high-society young man and a young woman who is already engaged with a royal family member in Taisho era. It is often classified as an art-oriented literature film, but also can be considered as another “pure-love” film, popular genre in Japan that was brought to the main stream by “Crying Out for Love, in the Center of the World” of the same director.
The film is nominated in 9 categories in Japan Academy Awards 2006.

1: Although 23 year old Yamada Naoko (Nakama Yukie) is a “super” magician, she is continously fired and constantly hounded by her landlady for the rent being late. After being fired once again, her boss shows her an ad of a physics professor, a non-believer of all things magical, offering money to anyone who can prove to him that magic is real. Desperately needing the money, Naoko accepts the challenge, which is how she comes to meet Professor Ueda (Abe Hiroshi). Falling prey to her simple magic tricks, Ueda is impressed, and enlists Naoko to help him uncover the tricks behind a local cult. Their hilarious antics, along with those of police officer Yabe, leads them onto further mysteries, all with tricks needing to be solved in sort of an “X-Files” meets “Scooby-Doo”…
2: Trick 2 keeps on describing the strange relationships of Yamada Naoko, a skilled and unemployed magician, and Ueda Jiro a physics teacher who doesn’t believe in supranatural powers. Each story gives us the opportunity to meet these funny characters including Police Officer Yabe and Naoko’s mother.
3: A unique duo of a beautiful female magician and a strange physics professor are back! After two successful TV series, a record high DVD sales record in the newly released drama category, a smash hit theatrical movie, the best selling novelized book, etc., the show has made a come back to a weekly prime time slot.
The drama takes place at a remote mountain village bound by convention. HOUSTON, TX - Ryan Call was swamped by teenage girls kindling their fickle devotion as he announced today that he was becoming the new associate editor of popular underground dog food magazine NOÖ Journal.

When prompted by an exultation from one of the hotter teens, the one with the raccoon makeup, Ryan said he would be happy to explain his new duties at NOÖ. "I am going to be reading submissions, editing shit, and hyping on the internet. I'm also going to be working with Magic Helicopter Press doing the same thing."

Of course, everyone was wondering if this meant fascist bullshit karate fry cook editors Mike Young or Kyle Peterson would step down or otherwise relieve their duties. But Call shrugged off this speculation. "Mike and Kyle are still doing everything they were doing. We just want to do things faster and more, you know, professional 'n shit." Ryan had no comment on Mike's whereabouts, dampening hopes that the reclusive cult gymnast would appear in public for the first time since the 1843 "dinner-and-a-moon-rocket" disaster.

Instead, surrogate representatives of NOÖ--pandas, penguins, and popular black and white TV icon Andy Griffith--lofted Ryan atop their shoulders and paraded him through the muggy streets of Houston to jubilant cries of "NOÖ? What's that? How the fuck are you supposed to pronounce that? What are those two little dots called? I hate fucking Houston."
