Mercury Man (Thai Superhero) DVDRip

Mercury Man (Thai: มนุษย์เหล็กไหล or Ma noot lhek lai) is a 2006 Thai superhero martial arts action film. It is directed by Bhandit Thongdee with martial arts choreography by Panna Rittikrai of Ong-Bak (Tony Jaa), Tom-Yum-Goong (Tony Jaa) and Born to Fight.

After being stabbed with an ancient Tibetan amulet, a Bangkok firefighter named Sharn is transformed into a superhero when his body becomes a massive heat source, which he learns to manipulate to give him super strength, increased agility and the ability to make great leaps.

Sharn's fate is entwined with an Afghan terrorist, Osama bin Ali, who wants the power of the Tibetan amulet to use in a plot to destroy the United States. With his international terrorist organization, led by henchwoman Areena, Osama kidnaps Sharn's mother and transsexual sister and takes them to the Royal Thai Navy base, where he hopes to launch a rocket at a US Navy chemical weapon ship. Osama also has suicide bombers spread out throughout Thailand, ready to act on his word.

Aided by the young female guardian of the amulet, Sharn rescues his mother and sister. However, he must face Areena, who has stabbed herself with a companion amulet, giving her the powers of extreme cold and ice.

Synopsis:

This is going to be so exciting, venturing and crazy.
Various types of tricky games are designed with increasing degree of difficulties and participants enjoy them so hard. Eventually, Ling and Janice turn to enemies. Aiming at getting their competitors defeated, friendship of the two groups is facing a big challenge of bankruptcy. But at the critical moment of life and death, Ling saves Janice out of jeopardy. They are reconciled and finally understand their friendship is so cherishing. Simultaneously, Him and his partner stop running the competition before it becomes out of hand.
One day later, Janice finds out all of a sudden that the competition video has been uploaded to You tube. Janice and Ling are irritated because of the betrayal and decide to take revenge. They set up Him and his partner by involving them in a series of dangerous games. Now, things seem becoming more intriguing and complicated. Who's the black hand of the whole incident? What's going to happen next?

MC Oroville's Answering Machine is out now for $3.50 from Transmission Press. Many thanks to Logan Ryan Smith, who is publishing lovely multicolored versions of this poetry chapbook. Poems? Of BBQ sauce collage, kidnapped lyrics, detuned fiddles, coleslaw, horse teeth, police tape, Skoal, 49er kitten lectures, casino buffets, lye and chub, bowling alley parking lots, and featuring 2 1/2 allusions to Kenneth Patchen’s Hallelujah Anyway.

Basically: Oroville's newspaper has this section called the Openline where you can call in and say anything and they'll print it. Oroville also has an official rapper named MC Oroville, except he moved to the Bay Area. MC Oroville's Answering Machine is like what would happen if a mythic version of Oroville left mythic messages on its departed MC's mythic answering machine of myth.
