Yeah. That happened. What? Huh? Whodafuq do I think I am?
Fun fact, I used to looove running. And then I moved and lost my running shoes that were fitted just for my weird ex-dancer feet. Womp.
I decided to go ahead and download the "Couch to 5k" app for a little support and, much to my surprise, it was awesome. And by awesome I mean that I was ready for it to go duck itself after 20 minutes. Which, I guess, is better than after the first 5 minutes, considering I haven't actually ran in god knows how long.
Also, I'm fairly certain the sweat that I was drenched in (mmm, sexy.) when I finished my run was entirely made up of Miller Lite. Not even kidding either. Ha, like anyone actually thought I was kidding.
If I'm being honest here, the motivation behind said run came entirely from those shoes up there. Do they not look like a unicorn puked all over my feet? Answer: Yep, yep they do. And I friggen love them. Obviously they give me unicorn powers, aka I'm going to be able to knock out a 5k here in no time. El. Oh. El. Hope no one's holding their breath on that one. Let's not forget, I do spend quite a bit of time in stinky dive bars.
Oh, did I mention I decided that mid-August... in FLORIDA... was a good time to get back on my running game? Yuppp. You can just go ahead and call me Einstein.
Anywho, that's really all I've got today. Exciting, I know.
