Ho. Ly. Bananas.
I'm back and I'm alive. I think.

Sorry I didn't show my face around here yesterday, it's probably for the best though, if we're being honest. This face wasn't looking too hot yesterday and I was pretty sure I was on my death bed. You can thank my 5 day binder with Erin for that one.

You can also thank the 15 hours of hibernation I got last night for my presence here today. Yes, you read that correctly. I hauled my ass to bed as soon as I got home from work yesterday and didn't budge until my alarm went off at 7 this morning. I guess that's what happens when you get about 20 hours of drunken sleep over the course of 5 days.

I don't even know where to begin a post recapping what all happened over the course of her 5 days here but I'm going to try to highlight some of the activities we got ourselves in to. I think that'll be easiest. Or maybe not.

Warning: This post contains eleventy billion photos. You've been warned.

Hanging out at my hole-in-the-wall bar.
We did this a lot. Mostly because it's walking distance from my apartment.
We did this until the late late hours of the night. Or until 2am, you know, when it closes.
I actually dragged Erin here as soon as she got in town... she had quite the long adventure on the plane so it was only right to greet her with mass amounts of beer to get our 5 day party started.

Rooftop Party.
One of the things I really wanted to introduce her to was the shenanigans that happen above my apartment complex. We stayed up there until something like 5am and it didn't disappoint, as always.
Well, until we woke up the next morning and couldn't find Erin's wallet.

Any guesses as to where yours truly found said wallet (which happened to be filled with her entire damn paycheck?)... If you guessed the rooftop, you're right.

Oh, Erin also "didn't take a nap" on the rooftop either.
The good news is that her wallet was still present at this point.

BBQ Pringles and Miller Lite.
I prepped my apartment with 2 cans of BBQ Pringles and a case of Miller Lite for Erin's arrival and let's just say we put a dent in them. Also, we drank the bar out of draft Miller Lite.
And possibly the entire city of Orlando. This is not a joke. This may also be why I'm still in recovery 2 days later.

Here's what I woke up to on my living room floor after night one...

Cocoa Beach.
On day two we had a beach day which caused Erin to burn like the cutie little french fry she was for the remainder of the trip. I think my favorite little New Yorker might have slightly underestimated this Florida sun. Just a little bit.

Here's our "weeeeee, we're going to the beachhh" sexy faces.

Ella-Sebby-Erin-Miller Lite snuggles.

We're on a boat.
Or at least on day 3 we were. We went out to the lake for some fun in the sun and it was pretty much heaven, if I do say so myself.

Saki bombs and hibachi.
After the lake we decided it would be a good idea to go get nice and fat on some hibachi and saki bombs. And by nice and fat, I also mean nice, fat, and slightly hammered.
Thank you, saki.
Side note: I lose my shit over the onion volcano every. single. time.

Napkin blankets.
My bestie Erin has a little thing where she's always cold. When we're out and she gets cold, she turns to the first thing she can find that will find her warmth. Usually that thing is a napkin.
The photo on the left is from my trip to see her in NYC and the right would be her trip here.

Bestie bracelets!
On day 4 we went to Islands of Adventure at Universal so Erin's wildest dreams could come true and she could finally go to Harry Potter Land, because when my bestie says she wants to do something, we do it. While we were there we got bestie bracelets and I'm pretty sure mine is never ever coming off, like ever.

Food, food, fatty food.
I think it's safe to say that all diets and/or healthy eating choices were shoved far out the door on this trip. But, hey, what are vacations for?

Lounging by the pool.
Our fifth day was spent relaxing at the pool in my complex and it was the epitome of what I wish life was every day.

Erin's last meal. :(
Our last night was spent at the Italian place by my apartment and two bottles of wine.
We then proceeded to go to the bar until way too late, considering we had to wake up at 6am yesterday, but what else do you expect from us? We were sad and we needed to drown our sorrows.

And that's pretty much all I've got for you from this trip.
I'm still slightly in a haze from missing my bestie but I'm so thankful for the time we got to spend together.

Erin, once again, thank you for such an amazing time. You're one of the bestest friends I could ever ask for and I'm just the luckiest duck in all of the world to be able to call you my bestie! I know it wont be long until we're reunited so I knew this time it wasn't goodbye, it was I'll see you soon. I love you so, so many.

PS. Go read Erin's recap post now, it's only fair.
