Yoga pants isn't just a style, but a way of life.

Have you ever read a blog and thought to yourself, "damn, this girl and I would make awesome friends"?! Yeah... this girl, my thoughts exactly.

Hi y'all, I'm Helene.

I am a Whitney fan. Duh, who isn't? I'm also a fan of this person, this one and this gal.
I thought today I would write my post inspired by the girl and the blog itself.

We all wear yoga pants. 

Some more than others.

Some better than others.

I certainly try to wear them every moment I can.

I know, especially from reading Whitney, rocking the yoga pants isn't just a style, but a way of life.

To Work:
This look is usually after Thirsty Thursdays. You've had to much to drink (or eat) the night before and you need to just relax.
You've got on make up from last night and your all "Please don't give me a project today (or talk to me at all)" look.
You try to spruce it up with a frilly top but everyone knows you're secret. (You're hungover).
And you're fine with that.
You are sitting low in your chair, legs uncrossed. It's ok, you've got on yoga pants.

To the Bar:
You're ready to party and you don't care who knows it.
Maybe you have on a low cut top so you're gonna balance that bad boy out with the yoga pants.
Throw on some bronzer, you look like a million bucks.
Feel free to eat greasy bar food, you're wearing stretchy pants.
You are definitely about to break down some moves, maybe even a high kick.

To a Baby Shower:
You are here for the mimosas. You forgot to bring a gift since you left straight from the couch you slept on last night. Good thing you left some yoga pants in the car. So what if you have on a dress that could be considered a shirt, you put the pants on underneath.
People keep asking what reeks of alcohol, but you keep your eyes on the prize, a couch seat.

Try to not have a picture of you ever taken like this.

So you see, as I have learned there are many places to wear yoga pants. Hell, wear them to a wedding. As long as you feel confident who cares?
I know that wearing yoga pants or even no pants at all has it's purpose. My purpose is that I'm here to drink and I'm going to have a good time doing it. Where do you wear your yoga pants?
