Yesterday marked the unofficial last day of Summer which means it's officially Fall... in my pumpkin spice loving world, at least. So, today I'm going to steal borrow a little idea from one of my favorite little women, Little Woman from Little Woman, Little Home.
Today I present my Fall Bucket List:
1. Go to a pumpkin patch - I really want to go pick out a pumpkin with my boo. Mostly for photo purposes, but it's a Fall must-do, amIright?!
2. Make more "us" time - Pretty self explanatory. Fall and Winter always seem to be the most romantic seasons, I'm hoping we can try and tune out our crazy lives a little more and focus on us.
3. Fall photoshoot - I'm a photographer... I love my man... and photos. This just needs to happen. For this bucket list, of course.
4. Food & wine fest - (!!!!!!!!!) One of my favorite things about Fall. Epcot's Food & Wine Festival. It's a close third behind my birthday and Christmas. If we don't go at least once I'll cry. For real.
5. Visit New York City - So, yes, this is kind of a cop out - slightly. We already have plane tickets and a hotel room booked for NYC in October to celebrate my boo's birthday. Small details. It's my damn bucket list and so, boom, I can put it on there if I want.
6. Pumpkin spice latte - I need to suck down as much caffeinated pumpkin bevys as possible this season. 'Nough said.
7. Carve a pumpkin - Even though I'm no Bob Ross of pumpkin carving (and have proved this many, many years), I need to get on it this year. I keep seeing all of these adorable pumpkins on Pinterest, of course, and I've almost built up the courage to attempt one. Almost. Stay tuned..
8. Make 2 "Fall" desserts - I need to get on the Fall goodz. Your girl has been slacking in the kitchen lately and I swear I heard my sweet pink Kitchen Aid mixer crying to be used the other day. Mark my words - this one will happen.
So, there you have it. I'll revisit this post at the end of Fall to update with everything I accomplished from this list.. Which will totally be everything, right? I hope. I adore this time of the year.
Cheers to a 4 day work week, I'm out!
