And I didn't think I was going to. Woof.
Concerts on a school night can get a little painful, come to find out.
Last night I went to go see Ben Rector (if you don't know of him, I give you permission to ex out of this post and go straight to youtube to listen to his music) and he was absolutely amazing. Quite possibly one of the best concerts I've been to in a long time. His music seriously gives me a body full of chills and the happiest heart ever. Not to mention, he's crazy talented and so charming when he interacts with the audience.
He played at House of Blues which is seriously one of my most favorite venues in Orlando to go see shows at because of it's super intimate atmosphere and last night's show was no exception.
I'm telling you, if you haven't listened to his music you need to go do so now. And then go see if he's making his way through your city because it was worth every single penny I paid and then some. I'm seriously still amazed by what he did on that stage last night.
The song I'm sharing today is absolutely a new favorite after last night. He was explaining that not, exactly, all of his love songs were written with his wife in mind and sometimes they just came to him, but this one was different. This one was written whole heartedly for his wife and it has a lot of meaning behind it. For whatever reason, probably my disgustingly mushy persona as of late, it totally touched me and I got really into the song. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
