Holy bananas guys, I'm back and I'm alive. I know, I can hardly believe it myself. That flu crap is no joke.
No joke at all.
Big thanks to the awesomesauce ladies who filled in for me and kept this blog alive while I was on my death bed. And mad props to my doctor who prescribed me Tamiflu, which made it possible for me to have a weekend this weekend.
Moving on, it's only right for me to support my girl Samilicious and link up with her today to play show and tell for my weekend. Does anyone else remember show and tell in school? I used to lose my shit over show and tell day. I always wanted to be one of the cool kids who brought a pet but my parents would never let me. And maybe I'm still a little bitter about it.
I spent some quality time by the pool this weekend, soaking in the good old fashioned Florida vitamin D. I sported my new Lifeguard Press swag and I was feeling like a fancy little peach.
I also had a date this weekend with Tarjay. My weakness for their clearance slippers is truly unmeasurable.
Le Man Friend took me bowling this weekend and I busted out my sweet Tarjay clearance socks.
I painted my nails and got slightly festive with them. I hope we can still be friends. Don't worry, I still have cold stone for a heart.
Softball season is back.
For those of you who are new here, I do not play. My Man Friend plays, I sit at Whit Base (aka the bleachers) with my large Tervis full of Chardonnay and heckle the other team somewhere around halfway through my Tervis. I enjoy it way more than I should, just don't tell Man Friend that. I like to pretend it's a burden. Because I'm an obnoxious female like that.
I ended my weekend staying up way past my bed time watching the Grammys, which I fully plan on recapping tomorrow - complete with my play-by-play commentary of the evening, for those who don't follow me on Twitter.
I'm still recovering from my JT-Adam Levine intoxication.
And also I'm still waiting for Nsync to perform. More on that tomorrow.
See you tomorrow!
