Talk weavy to me.

Penulis : Unknown on Friday, 21 December 2012 | 05:30

Friday, 21 December 2012

Heyyyyy you guyssss, since we all made it another day I'm here today to talk serious business.
And by serious business, I mean WEAVE
It's no secret I love to rock locks of other people's hair on my head and I've even admitted that it's somewhat of a dude magnet. My secret weapon, if you will.
Well, when Best Hair Buy contacted me asking if I'd review some weave for them I heard the blogging angels singing from high above.
Finally, this damn blog paid off. Just kidding, I love this blog, we know this.

Here's the hair I'm talking about today, if you missed my post on Monday.
When I was browsing BestHairBuy.com I decided to get a little crazy and order the 22 inch clip-in human hair extensions, which are 4 inches longer than the previous weave I'm used to.
Once they arrived I was really excited because they were great quality and definitely the best type of human hair extensions!

Moving on, let's talk about the additional products you'll need to achieve this look.
1. Obviously, you need to get you some weave. Again, mine came from Best Hair Buy.

2. Moroccan Oil. You don't have to use this exact brand but get you some lube hair oil.

3. Hair spray. I'm a big lover of the Moroccan Oil hair spray, too.

4. Chardonnay. You already know.

5. Curling iron/wand. I'll explain this in the vlog.

Here is a vlog to give you the step-by-step instructions.
Except the Chardonnay turned on me and I forgot to say good bye at the end. I hope we can still be friends.

Let me know if you have any questions and don't forget to check out BestHairBuy.com for all of your weavy needs.

Like it? Love it?

Getting down on Friday.

Penulis : Unknown on Friday, 21 September 2012 | 06:07

Friday, 21 September 2012

Am I the only one who wakes up with lioness hairz? Some mornings when I look in the mirror I wonder how people with hair like mine ever survived without irons and product. Just a thought since I actually took the time to tame this wild beast today. A special Friday treat, if you will
You're welcome, humans who are forced to come in contact with me today.

Anywho, let's write some letters. It's been a while since I've done a link-up and I'm already in happy hour mode, so the chances of my writing something with more substance is slim to none.

Dear Dogs, I'm thrilled you love sleeping in a king sized bed as much as I do but, for the love of Honey Boo Boo child, you both are a whole 12 pounds combined. How the HELL do you manage to take over my entire side during the course of the night? Oh and Ella, mommy does not appreciate you kicking her so you can stretch out and take up more of her space. It's pretty rude, if were being honest here. Dear Boyfriend, it's been quite a week. Yes it has. Our hula hoop party in the bathroom this morning was a blast. Also, I'm sorry I just shared that we pretended to hula hoop while we were brushing our teeth this morning. I love your sexy face. Dear Pumpkin Spice Bagels, DAMMIT you're so delicious. I've had one of you every day this week and I'm starting to feel you in my arse. We may need to break up - but I'm not convinced yet. Dear NYC, I can't even believe I'll be on a plane headed your way 2 weeks from today. I'm sooooo excited to show the boyfriend how amazing you are. PS. Please have weather in the 70's for me so I can wear scarfs and cardis. Dear Budgeting, As it turns out, you really do work, imagine that. Color me impressed. Dear Samilicious, You my girl, blue. Also, I was serious about us dancing in the rain together. Who do we consult about our states moving slightly closer?

Dear Readers, A sweet, misinformed, soul named Kayla invited me to take over her blog today. Read at your own risk. I explain my ambitions to be a reality star and also how I obtain free medical care.

Have a fab weekend, lovers. I'm out!

When Pinterest Fails You

Penulis : Unknown on Wednesday, 29 August 2012 | 06:39

Wednesday, 29 August 2012

So, today I'm going to show you the sad, sad hair-do I am rocking right now thanks to our beloved website, Pinterest.

The Unicorn Braid:
Tested and failed

The pin I saw was so cute, like really, really cute. My attempt? The opposite of cute. This looks like my 3 year old niece did my hair - or maybe my 5 year old nephew. It looks nothing like the original pinner promised.
(at least my new earrings from Jewelry Nut Auctions on FB are cute, no?)

{via}

So, I guess fine, blonde hair is not ideal for this "braid", or what? It's not even a real braid and I'm actually capable braiding! I'd be lying if I said this was the first Pinterest fail I've experienced but, come on, how easy does this chick make this hair style look?! Bah humbug. Damn you, Pinterest.

And for a good laugh, let's all look at my WORST Pinterest hair fail of all time. It's REALLY, really (really really really) bad.

THE WORST!!!!

In this particular pin I was instructed to divide my hair into multiple different braids and run a flat iron over them. Once the hair was cooled I was to take the braids out and the hair was supposed to be perfectly wavy.

ha. haha! Good one, Pinterest. Those are some PERFECT waves if I've ever seen them. Or not. No, definitely not even close.

I wish I could find the original pin for this one to share with you all but it doesn't seem to be on any of my boards any longer. My guess is it got deleted for the massive amount of disappointment it caused.

As frustrating as they are, I do love a good Pinterest fail. Which fails have you all experienced lately?
