Hello neglected, beloved blog. Sorry I've been MIA, my work load has been nothing short of CRAZY lately. 

I have about 8 million posts to update this blog with and I fully intend on scheduling each one to post one of these days. Or weeks. It's wedding season, can a girl get a break? ;)

Today I'm going to get back in the groove of things here by posting my very own recipe for pasta salad. One day I started throwing ingredients into a bowl and before I knew it le boyfriend was constantly requesting this little concoction. It's become a staple in my house, hope you like it too!

 Summary: Deokman was born a twin but was abandoned as a baby and sent to a place far away by her father, King Jinpyeong in order to protect her from being killed by an influenced royal court lady, Mishil who tries to snatch away the throne from the royal successor. Deokman was later brought back to the Silla palace, where she joined forces with her twin sister Princess Cheonmyong to oppose Mishil. However, Mishil devised sinister plans to have the two Silla princesses exiled from the kingdom, and in a secretive battle, Princess Cheonmyong was accidentally killed. But Princess Deokman shrewdly enlisted the help of General Kim Yusin and eliminated her archenemy Mishil. She then became Queen Seon Deok, the first female ruler of the Silla kingdom. This drama is about a story of a beautiful queen, who has to give up her love to save the people and thus, leaving behind many brilliant achievements.

Horseback Riding

Kayla was invited to go with a friend to a horseback riding lesson for her friend's birthday present. She had a blast. The instructor described her as 'fearless' and I think that was an appropriate description! He was wonderful with the girls and they were able to do a little more with the horse than just getting on to ride.

"Dripping Lips"

I hold quaint conversing
With the mere thought of you.
Dreams manifested under the glow
Of a moon that only shows
What I reserve under secrecy
Until none are near me.
None are present to dash you.
No dominion near to steer me.

You exude slippery smooth tones.
Your words feel slick and greasy.
Could it really be this easy?
I fear that I may become queasy.
Don't just look to please me.
Don't stroke my ego with trust.
It's days past swollen from lust.
One sharp thrust and it may bust.

Messy hands you willingly examine.
Feast on my offering after the famine.
I love to watch you gorge

Are remnants of dripping lips.

Brush strokes slam against canvas
As you peel through the pastels,
